Singer–Songwriter platform
Lakeside Stories is a singer-songwriter organisation that works to promote up and coming singer-songwriters both locally in The Netherlands and also for international artists touring The Netherlands.
In the last 8 years the organisation has hosted singer-songwriter events at various beautiful locations like: Theater Park Schouwburg in Hoorn, De Drom in Enkhuizen, De Statenpoort in Hoorn, VOLT in Hoorn, Strandbad in Edam and the Record Fair in Utrecht.
Currently the organisation has temporarilly suspended its Singer-songwriter events for the season 2018/2019 in order to focus on some new and exciting projects.
About Us
Lakeside Stories is an organisation for Singer/Songwriters and people who enjoy original music. It is currently run by Chris James (Wales) and Laurens Reij (The Netherlands) both of which are Singer/Songwriters themselves. There are a number of activities under the Lakeside Stories banner.
We organise singer-songwriter events are various locations in The Netherlands.
From time to time we release compilation and promotionals CDs containing tracks from various singer-songwriter acts.
We have a booking process for house concerts.
We have a recording studio well equiped for acoustic recordings
The Lakeside Stories concept is simple but effective. “Put something in, and get something out” We offer a stage where talented singer-songwriters can perform to a receptive audience. What do you get in return? A quality live audio recording of the performance, a video clip, radio coverage and publicity on our website and in the local media.
